Donaldson Mechanical repair, service, and maintain all brands of forestry equipment throughout New Zealand. Other industries we are involved with are geothermal well data logging winch units based in the Taupo and Papua New Guinea regions, geotech ground testing equipment as well as other various hydraulic projects.

We are well known nationwide for problem solving and diagnosis of technical hydraulic problems and any other issues relating to forestry gear. We carry out regular scheduled preventative maintenance visits to maintain the attachments and minimise machine down time – planning around the needs of our customers. At our workshop based in Hamilton, we have a fully equipped fabrication and machine shop, as well as specialised hydraulic testing equipment enabling us to offer full equipment rebuilds/refurbishment.

Donaldson Mechanical have Field Service Technicians who travel nationwide carrying out breakdown repairs (as well as servicing and maintaining). Our company vehicles carry all necessary parts for any given scenario and we hold a full range of stock at our Hamilton workshop.
