Donaldson Mechanical carry out the fitting up of various harvesters, felling heads and Grapples from our workshop based in Hamilton and also on site (depending on the size of the job). This can include custom engineering of mounting snubber and pipe guarding, full hydraulic valving and piping, and electrical and automation. Each brand of base machine has unique valving requirements which Donaldson Mechanical have researched, developed, and proven through many years of hands -on field service and testing. This ensures smooth operation and lower operating temperatures resulting in longer hose life and better fuel economy. Donaldson Mechanical offer a full in - house and mobile hosing service using top quality Eaton Aeroquip hose and fittings. All hydraulic projects are fully data logged prior to leaving our workshop using the latest Webtec data logging equipment. Every fit up is supported by our technical team supporting the delivery of the machine ensuring maximum production - minimum downtime. Any job can be adapted to the needs of our customer.
